[They indicate that Frederick purchased a 36" ebony crutch with solid silver crown and letter 'F' on 17th October 1894
He sent a picture, unidentified, to the Grafton Gallery in April and also purchased a solid silver mounted handbell for £2
A note on accounts in his handwriting, dated December 3rd 1894 includes this comment "Bryce's first account £1 10s. is for old lead belonging to me which he endeavoured to appropriate and take away, but was stopped. It is discreditable to Bryce, and I will not recognise it'
He also reduced a servant's wages of £7 11s 2d. for the value of a gravy spoon and two teaspoons
Frederick took the Villa Primavera at Cannes from mid-November to mid-January 1895, after having paid a surveyor to inspect the drains. He was in London at 6 Duchess Street from mid-April to mid-June; and at Bad Homburg from mid-June to mid-August. He spent September at North Berwick and was at Castle Fraser in October.
Frederick kept his carriage in store in Aberdeen. When he wanted to go anywhere, he hired from the Burnett Arms in Kemnay - either a dog-cart or a landau. His most frequent visits were to the Gordons at Cluny Castle. He also dined at Keith Hall, Tillyfour and Midmar. For daytime visits he used the dog-cart and for dinner the landau. There is no factory account for this year.]
