Arrived Egypt 1882. British delegate of International Maritime Sanitary and Quarantine Board of Egypt (International Quarantine Board of Egypt) from 1897. Recieved gold medal from board and C.M.G from British Government in recognition of service. Gave up private practice to treated wounded from Gallipolli during WWI. Street in Alexandria named after him, Dr. Morrison Street. (Aberdeen University Review)

Published articles in British Medical Journal (B.M.J) on spinal analgesia and renal calculus. Surgeon and later consulting surgeon to Anglo-Swiss Hospital in Alexandria. Member of Egyptian division of British Medical Association.
