The planning of future trips and excursions, specifically trips to Lochnagar, Gelncoe, and a midnight excursion through the Lairg and Laoigh. The management and running of huts and lodges including a suggestion to open negotiations with the Duke of Fife's Trustees for a 5 year lease of Derry Lodge after the War. A plan set up an Emergency Fund after a Club Member had an accident while out climbing. This volume documents a number of matters arising from the proposal to join the British Mountaineering Club. In matters of subscription and members in 1940, the committee decided that the payments of the annual subscriptions by members on full time service during the War should be optional. The minutes also note that during the war, the Annual General Meeting was held in the Caledonian Odd fellows' Halls with refreshments at the end of the meeting instead of having Annual Dinner. |
