DescriptionInstrument of resignation whereby Richard Paip, burgess of Aberdeen, with consent of his brother Thomas Paip, William Rolland and Jean Steuart his wife, Master John Moir, collector of the Kirk Session of the burgh and others, resigned the fishings of Ly Pott into the hands of Master Thomas Gray, baillie of the burgh representing the provost and council, superiors of the fishings, for the making of a new grant thereof in favour of William Scott, merchant burgess of Aberdeen, and John Scott his son. Notary, Walter Robertson, scribe of the burgh.
