Certificate signed by E. Mosely, F. Ker, and James Lermont, in name of commissioners for allowing and determining claims out of confiscated estates in Scotland, to commissioners entrusted with estates of several excepted persons in Scotland, that Sir Alexander Burnett of Leys claims out of estate of William, Earl Marischal, 57,090 merks scots, due by wadset, 13 May 1642, wherefore commissioners allow said Sir Alexander as a person capable of benefit of ordinance of pardon and grace, real right of town and lands of barony of Strachane and Culpersache, in lordship of Inverugie, sheriffdom of Kincardine, 12 December 1656.
