Warrant signed by Annandale, Drumlanrig, Torphican, Douglas and another addressed to Mr William Douglass, advocate, intimating that they have agreed to leave lady Heselsyd in possession of her feu during the minority of of the Marquess of Douglas. Edinburgh 1st February 1662.

Instructions and orders given by James, marquess of Douglas, to mr William Douglas, advocate, for acting in his affairs and doing his business. Douglas, 10th June 1667.

Copy order by Jean (John) Foularton, Lt. Col. in Scottish regiment of Douglas, relating to reform of the regiment. Signed by M. Le Tellier at paris, 29th November 1647.
