Precept of clare constat by Patrick, archbishop of st Andrews, in favour of Alexander of Leyis as heir of the deceased of Alexandr Burnet of Leyis, his father, in lands of Inverie, and half lands of of Kirktoun of Bankquhary, in the regality of St Andrews, barony of Rescoby, sheriffdom of Kincardine, 28th September 1581. Signed by granter. Fragment ofr seal on tag.
5. Contract between between Alexander Burnet of Leyis and Thomas Watson , maltman, son of John Watson, maltman in Castaltoune of Durris, whereby said Aleander is to infeft said Thomas in three crofts of land called the Stewartis croftis of Castaltoun, 3rd June 1601. Under reversion.
