1.Great Seal confirmation of charter, 29th July 1561., by George Gordoun of Lesmoir to Alexander Gordoun his son, and Marjorie Forbes, his spouse, of lands of Gorrachy, half of Craigheid, mill of Balmad in Sheriffdom of Aberdeen, 28th January 1576/7. RMS iv/2637. Fragment of seal on tag.
2. Charter by Mr David Rait, Principal of King's College, Old Aberdeen, and regents thereof, confirming charter, 29th May 1616, by Thomas Watsone, portioner of Castellton to Andrew Burnet, burgess of Aberdeen, and Christian Jaffrey, his spouse, with consent of Elizabeth Gordon, his spouse, of 3 crofts, part of patrimony of said college, called Grythied, Bowackcroft and Collation Croft, bounds specified, in Aberdeen, 29th May 1616.

3. Charter by Mr John Cheyne of Arnage to Isobel Burnett, daughter of Alexander Burnett of Leyis, future wife of James Cheyne , granter's son, og lands of Ardquhadleis and others, in parish of egon, sheriffdom of Aberdeen, 19th June 1615.
4.Charter by Mr James Skeyne of Wester Corss in fullfillment of marriage contract between Mr Gilbert Skeyne, his son and apparent heir, and Elizabeth Burnett, sister of Alexander Burnet of Leyis, whereby said Gilbert and Elizabeth
are infeft in liferent in lands of Dilnabo and Eastsyde of the Myre, in barony of Tuliboy, sheriffdom of Kincardine, 11th December 1592.
5. Instrumnt of sasine following on precept of sasine, 9th June 1607, by mr Patrick Maitland, elder son of Mr Robert Maitland of Auchencreve, in favour of Katherine Burnet, his future spouse, daughter of Alexander Burnet of Leyis. in towns and lands of Auchleck and others in parish of Udny, barony of Tarves, sheriffdom of Aberdeen, 9-10th June 1607.
6.Charter by Mr Gilbert Keyth in Auquhorsk in fulfillment of marriage contract between granter and Janet Burnett, "filiam naturalem et legitimam" of deceased Alexander Burnet of Leyis, with consent of Catherine Arbuthnot, her mother, in liferent, of lands of Kynmundie in barony of Kynmundie, sheriffdom of Aberden and others in thanage of Kintore, said sheriffdom and in regality of Garioche, 3rd February 1578/79.
9. Instrument of sasine following on precept , 16th June 1643, by George Wood, son of deceased William Wood of
Colpnay to James Elphinstoun, younger, of Glack, of lie Scheilis in barony of Behelmes, sheriffdom of Aberdeen, 29th November 1643.
10. Precept under quarter seal in favour of Mr Alexander Blakhall and Agnes Burnet, his spouse, of half lands of Fyllaw in Shriffdom of Aberdeen, 8th February 1566/7, a.r. 2 and 25.
11. Instrument of sasine following on precept in marriage contract, 13th July 1686, between Alexander Burnet, eldest son of James Burnet of Monboddo, and Margaret Burnet, second sister of Sir Thomas Burnet of Leyis, kt, bt, in towns and lands of Lagavine and others in parish of Glenbervie, sheriffdom of Kincardine, 20th August1686.
12. Greatb seal charter confirming to Helen Burnet, spouse of george Burnet of Kemnay, marraige contract, 19, 21st June 1733, betwen said Helen and George, whereby said Helen was infeft in annuity over lands and barony of Kemnay, demesne called lie Old Mains, etc, including a meadow called Sluggartie, 13th February,1738.
13.Charter by Thomas Burnet of Craigmylne with consent of Alexander Burnet of Leys, to Mirabell Colless, relict of Alexander Burnet of Cragour, of a third part of demesne lands called the Mains of Craigmilne in the sheriffdom of Aberdeen, 2nd January, 1597/8. Seal on Tag. |
