Miscellaneous legal papers (21), chiefly bonds, but also including papers in process between Lady Arbuthnott and the tutors of Lord Arbuthnott, 16-17th century. Including:

Contracts between Thomas Burnett of Leys and David Wat in forest of Birs, anent sale of wood of Inverie for 4 years. 6th April 1620.
Contract between Thomas Burnet of Cluny and George Burnett, burgess of Aberdeen, whereby, said George, is to pay 300 merks Scots before next feast of Lammas called Petri ad vincula, and has already paid part of this sum to said Thomas- 2 rose nobles, two angle nobles, 2 crowns of the sun, extending to £12 or thereby, and in return, said Thomas binds himself to pay £40 Scots as comlete payment, of said 300 merks; and to pay yearly during lifetime of said George 15 bolls of oatmeal, 29th May 1578.
Contract between Alexander Burnet of Leyis on one part and Wiliam Burnett of Slowie and Alexander Burnet of Kynnaskie on the other part,whereby the former dispones to the latter, part of the woods of Crathes, bounds specified, 16th March 1583.
