DescriptionLetter from Amelia Nyasa Laws, Metz, to her parents, glad that they are pleased that the Thirlestane Road flat is sold for close to its original value, the only disadvantage of the Christens' flat is that it is beside the car-line, but it is near the shops which is good as Aunt's arms are not strong enough to carry provisions very far, cost of car tickets, room even for her parents in the flat, Aunt Amy's comments on Uncle Aleck, she is pleased that there is still room for two in the family grave, Fulvio's letter about prices in Rome, her parents are not to worry about Aunt Amy as Amelia will always try to have enough in the bank for emergencies, details of administration of Uncle's estate, when it is settled, Aunt will make a new will, note on the difference in male and female death duties, Mrs. Fleming has again offered help if needed, she likes letters from them, however, Mrs. Daly's concern over Amelia's parents' protracted stay in Africa, life in Europe is expensive and difficult now anyway, anxious about the clearance involved in them leaving Livingstonia, correspondence from Paul Rossi, annoyed at Aunt Amy not passing on a letter.
