DescriptionBrown cardboard formerly containing 'Peck's Ox Tongue and Beef', labelled in pencil labelled 'MA.A. VIII Illustrations and letters from M.R.E Gough'. It contains ten white University of Edinburgh envelopes holding negatives of stones and inscriptions. Each negative is in an individual negative envelope and labelled with a number apart from one envelope marked as 'R not used'.

Envelope marked as 'R not used' contains 6 negatives.
Envelope R 1 contains R 1.1,1.2, 1.4 -1.6 (1932)
Envelope R 2 contains R 2.1,2.2, 2.4 -2.6 (1932)
Envelope R 3 contains R 3.1,3.2, 3.5 ,3.6 and the last negative is labelled 2.5 or 3.3
Envelope R 5 contains R 5.1 - 5.5
Envelope R 6 contains R 6.1, 6.2 and 6.4
Envelope R 7 contains R 7.3 and 7.4
Envelope R 8 contains R 8.1
Envelope R 9 contains R 9.4 - 9.6
Envelope R 10 contains R 10.1
Brown envelope marked K1 which contains 6 negatives in negative envelopes. The first four negatives appear to be of the same mausoleum type structure.
Brown J.Lizars Ltd envelope marked K2 which contains 1 negative in a negative envelope marked 2.7.
Brown envelope marked K3 which contains 6 negatives in negative envelopes. Three negatives are unlabelled, the rest are numbered K 3.1, K3.8, K3.9, K3.10. This envelope is contained in a white envelope marked 3286/9/1 1932.
A short letter on University of Edinburgh paper dated 2 July 1959 from Michael R.E.Gough confirms the above envelopes of negatives.
