DescriptionLetter from the historian Keith Guthrie [William Keith Chambers Guthrie] dated Cambridge, 3 January 1936, enclosing some transcripts [not present with letter]; together with a sheet in Guthrie's hand titled "Ancient Remains above Analenc" with a description and references to photographs. Four photographs are enclosed; three of an obelisk with Greek inscription, numbered EM 339, and one of a gravestone, numbered EM 242

Letter dated 20 June 1952 from Ian W. MacPherson to Calder on British Institute of Archaelogy, Ankara notepaper. Enclosed are two small photographs marked Saatli and Köse Abdalla which MacPherson would like Calder to assess and advise on. He feels the second of the photographs No.76 could be a new addition to the Neo-Phrygian corpus. Typed.

Letter dated 7 October 1954 from Linda Benson to Calder to accompany a print and negative taken by Ms Benson for Calder in Cyprus. Handwritten.

Letter dated 18 November 1955 on University of London Institute of Archaeology headed paper from Mary Pinsent, secretary to Professor V. Gordon Childe, to Calder, returning envelopes with 5 negatives and one print of inscriptions, which had been sent to Childe for publication in Anatolian Studies. Typewritten.
