Description	Black and white portrait photograph of Mr Penman of Dumfries. Annotated in Lockhart's hand: 'Very capable Head in ? Business. Mr Penman established the ?Solway Factory at the start of the cycling boom. Keen draft player, he tackled a room full of players, showed a situation recognised as a draw, could make a win. He learned his ?mastery of drafts playing long hours with his own mother. Also a keen bowler.'
