Description | Correspondence regarding Faber and Faber's desire to call the book 'Lockhart's Anatomy', despite Lockhart's preference to have Dr Hamilton equally represented, and explaining that as their contract was with Lockhart, copyright would remain in his name alone, March - August 1958.
Correspondence relating to drawings commissioned by Faber and Faber, 1959 - 1979: 3 letters, principally regarding ownership and custody of the drawings commissioned for 'Anatomy of the Human Body, 1959, 1974 and 1979. Includes part of letter from Lockhart to Faber and Faber, 1959, in which Lockhart states that Faber and Faber presented all of the artist's drawings to the University on condition that they were not used for any other publication.
