DescriptionSeries of 22 numbered photographs (black and white) showing dissection of the brain, with printed key: two sets.

These photographs appear to relate to research conducted by Lockhart and may have been presented as a lecture. Some are dated 1923. A footnote to their key also suggests that a related article may have been published in the 'Journal of Anatomy', 63.1 (October 1928). Proceedings of the Society (pp 174 - 175).

Annotations on the envelopes in which these photographs were originally filed make reference to one set being sent to Dr Anna Fielding, in November 1968.

A letter from P. Laudan, University of Lausanne, commending Lockart on the quality of the photographs, discussing the dissection and methods of colouring used, 6 Jauary 1935, is enclosed with the second set of prints.
