Administrative History | 'Louis Cope's Fashion Show. By the Solitary and Mere Man' was written by Lockhart after accompanying his mother to this fashion show in Glasgow, 2 October 1928. He dedicates it in typically tongue-in-cheek style, 'To Louis Cope of Harrogate, in appreciation of the Artist and his Art.'
The poem's title was subsequently changed to 'The Latest Fashion Show.' |
