Family: Lady Braco, Macduff, including concerning his marriage: "Tuesday June 5th. I have only time to tell your Lordship that we wer married last night, I found there was a good many people expected to be present, we had only ask'd two lasses and two lads and this is the day fix'd for our nuptials, however I had interest with my sweet creature to put it over last night no body present but Lord Woodhill, tho there was a good many in the House at our feetwashing so after they went away we just went to bed together sans ceremonie, and we discover our secret this evening to our meeting of Friends at Parson Webster's supper, when they all come to see us married, adieu I can only now ad my duty to Lady Mother we shall lay at Stirling to morrow night."
