| Administrative History | Born in Dallas, Aberdeenshire, in 1871, Robert Douglas graduated MA from Aberdeen University in 1893, and MB, ChB from Glasgow in 1898. He later settled at Liff, near Dundee. His son, Alexander Stuart Douglas (1921 - 1999) was Regius Professor of Medicine at Aberdeen and an expert on blood coagulation. |
