| Description | Three notebooks containing transcriptions of documents relating to the family of Purvis in Lightonhill near Brechin. The notes were evidently made by Dr W.R. McNaughton, former Medical Officer of Health for Kincardineshire, and were passed to Lord Arbuthnott in 1946 as of possible family interest.
In an envelope with pamphlets and offprints on the Arbuthnott manuscripts, the Arbuthnott Missal, and notes on the Parish Church of Arbuthnott, with similar material. |
