| Description | Instrument of intimation and requisition taken by John Arbuthnot, N.P., at the kirk of Aberdour, on the compearance of John Arbuthnot, junior, of Carngall, as propcurator for Andrew Fraser of Stanywod, and in the presence of the parishoners duly intimated as to Alex. and John Forbes of Pitsligo of that parish of intention of Andrew Fraser to redeem the barony of Cairnbulg to which he had been assigned right on 2 April 1620 by Alex. Fraser, sometime of Durris, and his sons Robert and Andrew - as in earlier writs- in which Robert Fraser has ben infeft by sir Alex Fraser- rights also obtained in apprisings such as held by the Forbeses for payment of 8942 merks principal etc. which is to be offered on 2 June.
