Fraser of Cairnbulg, with Robert Fraser, fiar thereof and Andrew Fraser in Meikle Barneis, his sons, following on contract at Cairnbulg on 4 May 1619 betweenthem and Andrew Fraser of Staneywood respecting the lands and barony of Cairnbulg & wabsets thereon - these listed in detail & include the third of Cowburtrie for 1200 merks wadset to George Baird by the late Alex. Fraser on 22 Nov. 1600, sunny third wadset to Alex Chalmer etc. for 1200merks and middle third for 1000merks to do. & letters of tack etc of 6 July 1605 etc.etc.[too lenghty to summarise]. to Alex. Smyth alias Chalmer & wife 6 June 1603, to Wm. Cuik, Arch. Keith, Hew Sinclair of Brughe in Zetland, Robt. Stewart, Michael Fraser, Rights therein assigned by Sir Alex. & others to Alex. and robert Fraser as in contract and in assignation by Robert Fraser to Andrew Fraser his brother of 21 Oct. 1616 & 1 Feb. 1617 & as barony of cairnbulg was apprised in 2 Oct. 1617 from Robert Fraser at instance of Alex. Henderson servitor to John Skene for debts due to Henderson of £900 Sc. & £45 Sc. fees & by the Forbes of Pitsligo for 8942 merks principal & 449 merks fees, all rights now assigned etc. to Andrew Fraser of Stoneywood & hisheirs etc. for redemption of the same.
