| Description | Contemporary copy of disposition granted at Aberdeen, by Andrew, Lord Fraser, with consent of his half -brother , Thomas Fraser, and his step-mother, Elizabeth Creichtoun (his father's third wife and widow,), in favour of John Moire, sometime of {?]Cairnmuckes, and his wife and children , in return for unspecified sum of money, of lands and barony of Stonywood, granted to Moire and his wife, Jean Sandilands, in liferent and to children or heirs male in fee,(the sons being in order, James, John, Alex. and William), whom failing to heirs whatsoever or assigns of John Moir, elder.[ Too complicated to summarise division of parts of barony and arrangements for reversion, infeftment and resignation.] Reference is made to disposition and tolerance granted by the late John Leslie of Wards, heritable proprietor of Dyce, on 4 April 1608 (registered on 14 July 1609), in favour of deceased Andrew Fraser of Stanywood (Lord Fraser's grandfather), and his tennants etc. of Watertoune and Waltoun, respecting liberty of mosses, "peittleire" and casting of peats in moss of Dyce for all time, restricted by writ of 10 Nov. 1609 to casting of 16 spades for one day yearly and arrangements for stacking and removal etc. - rights now conveyed to Moirs as restricted. Moirs for their security also granted assignation to letter of tack of tiendsheaves of above lands set to Lord Fraser by John Row, principal of King's College for lifetime of said John Row and 5 years thereafter which commenced in 1658 for 200 merks Sc. duty and 8 bolls victual yearly payable to Principal or his successors as in contract of 25 June 1658. Procuratory is included. Original apparently signed by Lord Fraser and his step-mother and brother, Thomas. Witnesses Alex. Davidson, advocate, Alex. Johnstoun, glazier burgess of Aberdeen, Patrick Gellie, merchant burgess of Aberdeen, John Innes N.P. and John Brebner, Lord Fraser's chamberlain.
