| Description | Duplicate, contemporary copy of contracr between, Andrew, Lord fraser,(with consent of his spouse Elizabeth Crichtoune and she on her own behalf respecting liferent and terce rights), under marriage contract, and with advice of her father, James Creichtoune of Kinairdie & James Viscount of Fendraught, her brother), and Andrew, Master of Fraser (his eldest son by deceased dame Anna[sic] Hadden, his spouse).Lord Fraser had granted deposition on 5th June 1651 respecting his estates in favour of his said son & his heirs, whom failing his second son, Thomas, (by his second wife Elizabeth Creichtoun) and his heirs, whom failing to nearest heirs male of Andrew, Lord Fraser.
Lands mentioned include baronies of Staneywood, Cairnbulg & Phillorth. Since granting of earlier disposition agreed that remaining lands be transferred to Master of Fraser & his heirs also, reserving to his father liferent of barony of Cairnbulg etc. & all land in parishes of Rathen and Aberdour. Provision made regarding Lady Fraser's liferent rights etc. 54,000 merks given as sum to provide for her & her children & arrangement outlined for excambion of lands mentioned in marriage contract.
