Raised against Alex. Cumyng, fiar of Couttar [?Culter} by Andrew, Lord Fraser, Cumyng had, it is alleged, been granted a decreet of suspension incorrectly against Andrew, Lord Fraser for non-payment of 200 merks rights to this sum being claimed by Cumyng after various assignations and decreet & action of reduction pursued.Persons concerned in the action now summoned to answer at the instance off Andrew, Lord Fraser, before the commissioners of justice on 1 Nov., Wm. Davidson, sometime depute sheriff depute of Aberdeen, ASlex. Forbes of Auchintowie, Wm. Downie, James Broune and Master James Balfour, clerk of the courts of justice, and James Cushney N.P., are also summoned . No old refs.
