| Description | Discharge granted at Aberdeen by James Arbuthnot, tutor of Arbuthnot and Robert Keith, W.S., in favour of Andrew, Lord Fraser, for 600 merks to complete payment of 3000 merks due by Fraser to the late isobel Fraser, relict of Thomas Fraser, appearand of Durris, in liferent and to Marie and Helen Fraser their children in fee as in decreet arbitral of 14 Feb, 1618 which sum was assigned by Marie and Helen Fraser & their husbands, James Arbuthnot and Archibald Pabtoune and James Arbuhnot & Robert Keith and another decreet had been given on28 January 1636 in a suspension of triple poinding raised at the instance of Lord Fraser against Marie and Helen Fraser & their spouses, John Fraser of Clintertie & Robert Keith, suspending letters raised at James' Arbuthnot's instance respecting 2,400 merks seeing Lord Fraser on 23 Dec. 1635 had consigned in hands of the clerk of the bills 2400 merks which was to be delivered to granters of discharge & balance of 5600 merks paid also which has now been done.
