| Description | Contract (drawn up at Carnbulg) between Andrew Fraser of Staniewood, elder, and Francis Fraser, his second lawful sun and his wife, Marjorie Elphinstone, with advice and consent of her brother, Lord Balmerinoth, following on contract signed at Edinburgh on 31 July, 1626 between these partners by which Andrew Fraser, elder, was to infeft Francis & his wife in conjunct. fee & their heirs male etc. in lands of Mains of Kynmundie, Knockleyth, in lordship of Airden, parish of Langsyde and sheriffdom of Aberdeen in satisfaction of the lady's terce etc. due her at husband's decease. Second son also to be infeft in Torduff, mill of Tipperie & Inverbodie (in place of thunderstown) etc. by two infeftments- in feeblench & as of immdiate superior. Now thought more convenient to hold same in feu blench of father only & not in feuferm of superior (the Earl Marischal) & excambion is to be made respecting town and lands of Innervedie for two parts of Thunderstoune.
