DescriptionContract between Sir Alex Fraser of Fraserburgh, Knight, and Michael Fraser anent alienation made by Sir Alex to Michael Fraser of the "sone aught? pt? lands" of the town of Innernorth and shadow forth of the sunny half lands of the "aultoune" thereof old ref nos. 1 & 2. On paper in old scots, signed at Fraserburgh. Sir Alex. Fraser of Phillorth and Fraserburgh for 900 merks agrees to grant Michael Fraser in Innernorth (with the receipt of a further 300 merks by 2nd February next) investment in the sunny auch? pt. Lands if the intour of Innernorth with the shadow fourth of the "haill sonne half lands of the Oyttour" of the said lands by a sufficient feu charter of alienation and precept of sasine to be held of Sir Alex. & in fee and heritage for three and three quarter yearly feu duty with astricted multures of knareships of corn, (such as bear, oats, wheat etc.) to the new mill of Philorth etc. with usual services of barony and to take all his smiddy work to the smith at Cairnbulg. Includes clauses regarding redemption and registration. Witnesses named include: William Borthwick, Andrew Sanderson (Fraser's servants), Alex. Fraser in Boigheid, Magnus [Malcolm?] Ogstown, N.P., John Simpson, N.P writer hereof.
