Letter from Graham Callander, Orkney, 5 June 1934, thanking Low for sending photos; he has just finished packing the bones and they will be sent in a few days; encloses explanatory note re. same; urging him that when showing the remains to anyone or to the British Association, not to give details of the structure of the cairn as 'that will be given to the world by Walter and myself'; requests a report from Low on the bones for the December meeting of the Society of Antiquaries.

Letter from Walter Grant, Orkney, 22 June, enclosing formal letter of donation of the four neolithic skulls from Rousay; thanks Low for the photographs ('It is a beautiful effort - of its kind ! It gives me the creeps to look at it ...'); Professor Bryce is lunching here today 'His mouth will water when he sees your photographs ...'); Callander is pleased with Low's report on on the Midhowe cairn.
