| Description | Disposition by George Gordon of "Muiraik" or Muiresk as appriser of ;lands after mentioned following on apprising obtained in Edb. on 16 Jan. 1672 from deceased John Donaldson of Hiltoun and Alex. Donaldson, his eldest surviving son & others respecting barony of Hiltoune etc. (details given) -similar to those in 62 - for payment of 5340 merks 6/8 Sc. & 265 merks "Shireffie".
Confirmed charter under Great Seal 1 Mar. 1672 with precept of sasine of 25 Mar. 1672.
Rights thus conferred now assigned (on payment of unnamed sum) to Wm. Moir, advocate, with procuratory of resignation for new infeftment. Liferent rights of Moir's wife, Isobel Alexander, as in disposition granted by deceased Alex. Donaldson & his son are safeguarded. Grounds for apprising was bond granted by John and Alex. Donaldson to George Gordon of 9 Nov. 1670 reg. at Abd. on 26 Aug. 1671 for 3950 merks principal.
