Description | Disposition by Robert Gordon, eldest son of Sir Ludovick Gordon of Gordonstoun, with consent of said father & Alex. Donaldson, younger of Hiltoune & they for their own interests consequence upon apprising granted at Edinburgh to Robert Gordon against John |Donaldson of Hiltoune & others on 29 Nov. 1671 respecting lands and barony of Hiltoune, Kinharrachie etc., with Little Drumquhyndle & mill thereof also called "Scoupsmilne" etc. in parishes of Ellon and Methlick with tiendsheaves & other tiends, thereof, for £4733.6.8 principal & £236.13.4 "Shireffie correspondent thereto" to be held by Gordon of the crown or others named who are immediate superiors thereof as held by John Donaldson as on previsient ... on back thereof of decreet of apprising of 27 Jan 1672 & charter expede thereon under Great Seal of 6 Mar. 1672 including precept of sasine. Robert Gordon had been duly infeft therein and sasine registered. Now 6500 merks had been paid to Gordon and his father by Wm. Moir, advocate, at Whit. 1672 and he is accordingly granted assignation of above lands as apprised, with promise of infeftment (including procuratory of resignation) with warrant of apprising - bond by John Donaldson to L.
