DescriptionInstrument of sasine by James Cumming, N.P., Aberdeen, on compearance of William Gordon, writer, Edinburgh, with precept of sasine under the Great Seal in his favour granted at Edinburgh on 29 July 1670, see supra, respecting the toun & lands of Overtibbertie, called Meikle Tibbbertie, Warichmore etc. & "glebarius" called Redmoss, all in parish of Logiebuchan & Foveran, George Paton in Tulloch, [?] sheriff of Aberdeen, acting as baillie. Lands had been held by George Seattoun, elder, of Thorntoune & John Seattoun, now of Thorntoune, his son, held of the crown by service of ward and relief[?] and resigned into the hands of the crown for granting of new infeftments. [on parchment, in Latin].
Registration at Aberdeen on 20 June 1671 in Reg. of Sasines for sheriffdom of Aberdeen is also recorded in O.Sc. by John Gray, clerk and keeper of sai8d register. [old refs. 32, (16) & (20)].
