Description | Instrument of resignation of lands of Tillidesk etc. in favour of Robert Turner of Turnerhall in lferent and John Turner, his eldest son in fee. Taken by Harie Maule,N.P., W.S. in his "writing chamber" in Edinburgh, before witnesses on compearance of John Thomson, writer in Edinburgh, as procurator for late John Rose of Rosehill, before James Erskine of Grange and David Erskine of Dun immediate superiors as joint proprietors of lands earldom and estate of Mar as in charter under Great Seal of 26 July 1725, is resigned into their hands lands etc. of Tillidesk, Toddilhills Elphin etc. for new infeftment to Robert Turner in liferent and his eldest son, John, in fee & heirs of entail as in procuratory of resignation in disposition (following on will of late John Turner of Danzig of 17 Jan. 1688 and taizie therein confirmed at Edinburgh 23 Sept. 1690) by John Rose of 13 Jan. 1693 & reg. 8 Nov. 1694 & on 29 May 1728 (in Sheriff Court Book Abd.)
