| Description | Letters of assignation granted by John Gordon of Buckie, elder, in favour of Buckie, younger, his eldest son and apparent heir and his wife Joanna Campbell, of contract between John Gordon of Buckie, elder, and John Hay, respecting lands of Little Arnage, Kirkhill etc. and in procuratory of resignation thereanent and other contract and procuratory of resignation made between him and James Forbes of Tulliegowny respecting part of lands of Chapeltoune of Esslemont - following on contract of marriage mentioned 13 supra. Rights in part of Chapeltoun of Esslemont contained in contract signed at Aberdeen on 2 Oct. 1616 between Gordon and James Forbes of Tillygounie. As he has never been infeft of the crown in any of the lands specified he now assigns his rights in favour of his son and his wife to enable infeftment to be granted to them by procutaries of resignation already granted.
