Then writs go back to those in 1638 between John Donaldson of Hiltone and John Gordon fiar of Buckie & his father and son & subsequent apprisings etc. up to 1672; then back to 1619 & writs concerning Capt. Andrew Donaldson etc & deceased John Gordon of Buckie & writs following up to 1673. Then writs re transactions with Geo. Gordon of Muiresk in 1670 et seq., & to Moir in 1672; disposition to late Mgt. Donaldson 1638 et seq.; numerous other writs involving Donaldsons and Gordons of Buckie, their creditors etc. 1633 onwards - 1673-1675; later writs involving Wm. Moir, advocate 1673 on (many re dispute concerning enclosures and rights to moss of Hiltoune), involving also Robert Udny of Auchterellon, discharge 1648-1649 etc. involving Donaldson and Henry Elphinston of Calderhall(?second husband of Jean Scott) re liferent due her during lifetime of John Gordon, elder, of Buckie) & John Donaldson. Discharges by Alex. Abercrombie, elder of Birkenbog to John Donaldson of Hiltoune re @rent due to deceased Beatrix Urquhart, his wife, 1662 et seq [? she married 2ndly Abercrombie].
