Sinclair) of discharge of 18 Sept. 1649 granted at Aberdeen by Wm. Sinclair of Hoy, consequent upon marriage contract between`him and John Donaldson of Hilltoune (for himself and his sister Isobel Donaldson, thereafter Sinclair's wife) of 21 June 1642 in which Donald promises tocher of 2500 merks on sister's behalf on 20 May 1643.This had now been played with interest and discharge granted.
