Description | Letters granted under the Privy Seal of Scotland at Edinburgh on the above date- small portion of impression of seal containing royal arms still adhering - gifting to William Moir, advocate, the escheated effects of Alexander Donaldson of Hilltoun at the time of his denunciation at the horn etc., with escheat & liferents of all lands etc. belonging to him for his lifetime which had fallen into the hands of the crown on his denunciation on 31st Jan.1671 & later by James Riddell, George Gordon of Muiraik - Wm. Moir having right to lands etc. granted by Donaldson and/or his father, the late John Donaldson by virtue of assignations to him by Riddell & Gordon thereafter.
