Description | Letter to Lord James Hay [younger son of 7th Marquis of Tweeddale] (in Paris), reporting on interviews with the secretary of GNS Railway concerning proposed goods station at Bucksburn. The company wishes to feu ground between the bridge over the railway ‘leading to the farm opposite Andrew Wallaces to the side of the burn at Mill of Scleattie ... to form a coal-depot on the low ground, and to tip over the coals from the high ground’. Davidson recommends feuing of ground ‘except behind the feus fronting the road’ at the rate of five guineas per acre. |
