The collection itself is miscellaneous in nature, and includes copies of lectures delivered by Professor Jack, material associated with Jack's uncle, John Nichol of Glasgow University, and poetical works presented to Jack. A number of letters were found loose in books belonging to Jack, which now form part of the 'Jack library' in the University's English department. |
