Description | Commission under the privy seal of Scotland appointing James Gregory as first physician in Scotland to King George III following the decease of Dr Joseph Black. The appointment carried a salary of £100 sterling per annum during the King's pleasure.
The commission was written under the privy seal and registered on the 3 February 1800, sealed at Edinburgh on the 18 February 1800 and entered in Exchequer on the 3 April 1800. |
