Administrative HistoryAlgernon Percy (1779 - 1833), diplomat, was the second son of Algernon Percy (1750 - 1830), 1st Earl of Beverley, and the younger brother of George Percy, Lord Lovaine, later the 5th Duke of Northumberland.
DescriptionReport book of Mr Percy by his tutor at Eton covering 21 April to 19 December 1793. The report book details his daily life at Eton including information on when he rises, when he eats, when he goes to bed, illnesses he has, subjects he studies and how he spends his time.

The 1st of July 1793 was a typical day: "Homer's Odyssey construed and parsed pretty well for 11. Corn. (Cornelius) Nepos for 3. Odes for 5. Learns Virgil's Eclogues in the evening instead of Theme (40 lines) the whole said pretty well."
