Description | Letter from Charles Frederick Gregorie, Ennismore House, Dover, to Sir Philip Spencer Gregory thanking him for his kind messages on the death of his son, David George, at Suakim and relating the contents of the telegram he received from Lord Kitchener which told them of his death from a fall of his horse. He states that letters usually take 20 days so it will be a while before they know more, 31 October 1886. |
