He has been unable to visit Leeward and report on Georgia; Messrs. Grant will no doubt do so. The fleet has been dispersed and many may never reach Britain. He gives news of friends and acquaintances, deaths, and asks Gordon to look into some claim of Forbes’ in London, and to visit his mother. |
