Justifies his conduct and copies Byron's last poem, 'Tis time this heart should be immoved' ['unmoved'; written on 22 January 1824, Mesolonghi, 'On this day I complete my thirty sixth year']. MS 1160/20/316/2: Letter [copy; appended in MS 1160/20/316/1] from Charles Murray, Mesolonghi to W. Parry, [Zante]. He has given Parry's letter to Mavrokordatos, who appeared sensible of the latter's situation after Byron's death and expressed the wish to see him accompanying Gordon. [6 June 1824]
