Description | Letter from George Campbell, Principal of Marischal College, to Henry Dundas, Principal Secretary of State, in which he states that Dr Donaldson has expressed a wish to have Dr George Skene as an assistant (as he is too ill to undertake his duties) and successor upon his death. The University is willing to comply with this request and recommends Dr Skene to Henry Dundas as a well qualified successor, 31 January 1793.
