Description'Memorial concerning the North of Scotland'. Describes the poverty of the Colleges in Aberdeen, and the bad effects this has had upon teaching; refers to Jacobite interest at Marischal before 1715 and to the influence of the deprived masters upon the country through schools and meeting houses; and expresses hope that the forts that are to be erected and the armed forces to be supplied will eradicate any disloyalty. Recommends the union of King's College and Marischal College and urges the use of the vacated college as a military barracks.
