Administrative HistorySir Alexander Gordon of Lesmore, Bt., was elected assistant and successor to Dr. John Gregory, Professor of Medicine, at King's College, Aberdeen, in 1764, and made M.D. the same day. Dr. Gregory demitted in 1766 and died in 1773. Sir Alexander demitted in 1782 and died six days later.
