The list was found in the attic of the King Street building at the time of the removal to Foresterhill. It was cleaned and framed.
Description
List of individuals who provided subscriptions for the King Street building.
'Subscriptions to enable the Society to Procure a Situation, Erect a Building, and form an Establishment suited to the Purposes of the Institution; with the View of improving the Study of Medicine in Aberdeen'. The document contains a list of names in a alphabetical order with the amount they have subscribed. It is recorded that Sir James McGrigor, Director General of the Army Medical Department, subscribed £52.10.0 followed by a second subscription of £5.5.0. The Earl of Aberdeen subscribed fifty pounds.
