Administrative HistoryFollowing the re-constitution of the Aberdeen Medico-Chirurgical Society in 1812, two sections were established: the Senior members were the qualified doctors and the Junior members were the medical students. The Junior section had its own President and Secretary and held meetings in the library of the King Street Hall. The Junior section was eventually replaced by the University Medical Society.
