Administrative History | Previously recorded in UNIVERSITY 1073 as a student show performance, 'The Admirable Crichton', based on the 1902 comedy written by JM Barrie, was actually a play first performed by the Dramatic Society at the Palace Theatre on the 20 February 1928 (Academic Night) in support of Lord Provost Lewis' Joint Hospitals Fund (and appears to have been performed throughout the week). Lois Obee and Jim Smith played the lead roles. 'Northern Lights' was the student show performed as part of Gala or Charities Week in 1928. |
