Anderson that they hoped New Spalding Club volume would be ready for the press by the end of 1914; Gavin Greig was feeling much better personally and ready to go ahead; is to forward book of notes on sources of ballad versions; those supplied by Bell Robertson are the most valuable; is anxious for meeting at the New Year at Whitehill; discusses proposal of Beltane Society to publish selection of bothy ballads based on those he had sent to Supt. Ord some time before; has obtained grant from Carnegie Turst to bind thirty copies of second series of 'Buchan Observer' articles. |
